Right now it is raining. You might wonder why it rains, or why it thunders and lightnings. Water evaporates and the water goes into the clouds. When the clouds can't hold anymore water, it rains. This is called the water cycle. Why it thunders and lightnings is because when two clouds rub together, it forms static electricity. Like when you have socks on and you rub them against a carpet, it creates static electricity. That is how it rains, thunders and lightnings.
