Hey Alex, this is for you. I have to say reptiles are pretty cool. One thing my brother told me about komodo dragons is that they have pink spit because there is so much bacteria in their mouths. Komodo dragons are pretty cool also, when they bite, the bacteria goes into the wound and kills the animal over time. They can bunch up and kill an animal and each get their fair share. That is the reptile of the week, love you Alex!!!

If you have an iphone, ipod touch, or ipad then there is a free Amazon Kindle app, where it is the same thing, you can buy books!! So cool right!?

You HAVE to read this book

O.k. if you have not already read the book The Lightning Thief then you really should. It is about a boy who gets himself into total trouble. He got expelled from almost every school. When Percy finds out that he is not a mortal human, things then go wrong. He has to go to a special camp, camp Half-blood, so that he is protected from monsters. I am now on the third book, and it is a AWESOME series. If you have not yet read this book, the read it!!!

My dad

Ok, I wanna brag a little about my dad. My dad is totally awesome, so very smart, and loves me a lot. He is teaching me how to be a computer geek, like him. It is kinda fun actually. Sometimes he has to stay up late and get up early in the morning to work. He loves his job, a lot. I have actually have never been in his office before. It sounds cool though. My dad works right next to the awesomest street in the whole world!! Most people would think that oh it's just a street, but actually it is a pedestrian street, with one of a kind stores. Sometimes me, my mom and my brother would go out to lunch with him (and boy, do they have good food!!). My dads job is not the only cool thing though, my dad cares, and even though he might seem like he is mad, he still is full of love. He is a real outdoors-man, let me tell ya, he loves to hike, fish, camp, bike, everything that you could possibly think of doing outdoors. Well, I gotta go (I STARVING!!!). I love you dad, and just so you know mom, your next week!! Bye!!

Hey all you people out there reading my blog, I just wanted to say that you should visit my blog around once a week and I will have a new post!! Awesome right?! So middle schoolers who have a choice of taking Spanish or French instead of another class, I would choose the Spanish or French because then you will know how to lots of words in high school and it will be very helpful. School

So as most of you know, school started. So one of my teachers last year, my homeroom teacher/reading teacher, liked me a lot. I didn't really like her though, and when reading came around, she hated me. I bugged her a lot. So this year my homeroom teacher is really nice. Everyone says she is mean, but I like her. 7th grade, to me, is so much better than 6th grade. It is so fun, and you don't have boring teachers who make you read a textbook. I have to say though, last year I had some awesome teachers. One was my math teacher and another is my science teacher. Now I hate science because I have a mean teacher. So yesterday I had 3 tests. It stunk. I am so happy it's Saturday. I'm starving, so talk to me next time on butterfly5dz.blogspot.com thanks

Penguins

O.k. The votes are in. Most people think penguins are so cool. I have to agree. I LOVE penguins they are my favorite animal. Penguins are very smart. They swim and catch fish, and even Emperor penguins eat squid. The ocean that Emperor penguins swim in has an average of 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Penguins eat shrimp, fish and crabs and more. Sometimes a Killer Whale would eat a larger penguin, rather than a smaller one. But Sea Lions eat penguins more often. Adelie penguins are the smallest penguins and Emperor penguins are the largest penguins. There is a lot more penguins than just that though. Whats really sad though is when there is oil spills from boats and ships, the penguins get that on there feathers and can't get it off and when it's hot out the penguins become hot and when is cold out the penguins become cold. They will die if their body temperature is to hot or to cold. What's also really sad is that if there is a bunch of litter on the ground they will get into it and choke, or eat something their not supposed to eat. They can die from that also. That goes for all birds, everywhere. Penguins are toothless, but instead they have a beak, to grab and catch fish. In just a few minutes one penguin can eat hundreds of krill, or many small fish. Rockhopper penguins jump. They jump little distances, but it is one of there unique ways of moving. That is where they got there name, Rockhopper. Adelie penguins make piles of rocks, and whoever has the most rocks gets the girls. Some penguins live in New Zealand, where it is still cold. Like a lot of other animals, penguins molt, or shed there fur. During molting season, you will probably see a lot of penguin feathers.
