The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games is about a girl, Katniss Everdeen, and her life as a poor girl in a world where the Capitol rules and makes kids get randomly chosen, one boy and one girl, to put in an arena to fight to the death. Katniss, and a son of the local bread-maker's son, Peta. Peta has liked Katniss secretly for a while now, but their "love" manages to keep the both of them alive because they really do not want to kill each other and have one be the winner or the 74th Hunger Games while the other is dead. She gets a mockingjay pin from the governor of the districts daughter, for good luck (they all wished each other good luck so that they wouldn't have to go in the arena), and it means the world to Katniss, and ends up being the secret symbol for the rebels in the 3rd book. If you haven't read the book, and watched the movie (the book is better though) then you are really missing out on this 21st century hit.

School is coming back

Oh wonderful school. All who are exited! All who are not! Or even in between, I would like you to do the poll, to your right. As for me, I can't Wait for school!! Summer, after a while, gets kinda boring for me. School keeps me busy. I hate being bored. But of course a lot of people hate being bored. Any good books? Hmmmmmm, what about, Things Not Seen by: Andrew Clements? That's a good book. Well summer math, ugh. Not very fun. I mean, its ok, I just get kind of annoyed by it. Well, see ya!!! :P

Corn, the good and the bad

My mom is allergic to corn, and it stinks! Now the government is paying farmers extra for growing corn. So that means America is using more and more corn. What do we use corn for anyway? Well we use it for gasoline. About 10% is used in everyday fuel you buy for your car. It also burns terribly. It makes the world even more polluted. And on top of that wheat is growing more and more expensive. Everyone that grows wheat switches to corn to make more money. The price of cereal is growing even! 

Homeschool

Ok, my mom pulled me out of school in January. Now I am home-schooled. Homeschooling is so much fun! My mom is the best teacher ever!! I love spending time with my brother and not having homework! No stress!! My mom bought me and my brother these books called the life of Fred. It looks so cool and so funny! If you are home-schooled, then I would defiantly recommend these books. It's making school fun!!

For those of you out there that have not read the Hunger Games, then you should read them. It's like the best series ever! If you read the Hunger Games, then you will know what this necklace is and you will think it is really cool. I want one!!

I got a psp 3001 for Christmas and boy is it awesome!!!!! I love it and with the psp 3001 you can download games and play UMD'S!! How cool is that? Its also cheaper than to psp go, and does more than it!!! I love my psp 3001

Harry Ford

Harry Ford, this is for you, just saying Indiana Jones is my hero!!! You totally blasted that movie off!!! I mean how cool would it be to have a lego version of you!!!! I can not believe how far you have come in your acting carer, you started off as Han Solo in Star Wars, a total major picture, and then ended up as the star of Indiana Jones!!! Talk about success!!! Just saying you are so awesome and I hope you read this, because I am truly your biggest fan!!! HARRISON FORD RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bands

Here are some awesome bands, you should check out.

The plain white T's are like the new beetles. They totally rock at singing, and I love their new song The rhythm of love. They are so creative, unlike some singers, and sing with passion.

OneRepublic is also super cool, they have amazing songs and are seriously talented. Please, dude who sings, do NOT break up with the band like the Killers and Brandon Flowers, sorry but I think that was a stupid idea. Just remember, how good you are with your band.

The Fray, every single time I hear the song How to Save a Life, it brings back memories, of Ben. And Nic. He is really mean, he just doesn't know it.
